ACE QC Program Interest & Inquiry Form

Thank you for your interest in the Accelerate, Complete, and Engage at Queens College (ACE QC).  Complete this form to express your interest in learning more about ACE QC.

NOTE: This is not an ACE QC Application.  We are awaiting guidance from CUNY and the City regarding funding to recruit a new cohort for Fall 2024.

As an ACE QC student, you will receive a wide range of support toward the completion of your degree:

  • A dedicated ACE advisor to guide your progress from entry to graduation
  • Enhanced career development and academic support
  • Early registration to help you get the classes you need
  • Tuition gap scholarship for any difference between tuition costs and your financial aid award (for students in receipt of financial aid)
  • Free use of MetroCard or campus parking (if selected by Public Safety)
  • Funding for textbooks and college supplies
  • Scholarship opportunities for winter/summer courses

Are you a potential ACE QC student?  You are if you answer yes to the following:

  • Accepted as a transfer student and committed to attending QC full-time
  • Will have earned an Associate in Arts (AA) or Science (AS) degree by the time you join us
  • No more than 80 transfer and QC credits and in good academic standing
  • Majoring in one of the ACE-supported majors - See List of ACE QC Majors
  • New York State resident and/or qualified for in-state tuition
  • Completed FAFSA (Federal) and TAP (NYS) financial aid applications

*Students not receiving financial aid due to immigration status may join but not receive a tuition gap scholarship. Students under the New York Dream Act may be eligible to receive state aid, including TAP, Excelsior, and other state-administered scholarships. Visit NY Dream Act for eligibility and to apply.

ACE QC only accepts students who are residents of NYC/NYS and/or qualified for in-state tuition as per CUNY tuition and fees manual.

Associate's Degree Type*
ACE QC accepts students who will have earned an AA or AS degree by the time they transfer to QC. AAS degree will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

You do not appear to be eligible.  ACE QC students must have an earned Associate in Arts (AA) or Associate in Science (AS) degree by the time they start at QC.  Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree will be considered on a case-by-case basis.  Student must demonstrate a viable path towards earning a bachelor's degree within two years of joining the program.

These are the majors currently supported by ACE QC. ACE QC students may only pursue one major and must have a demonstrated plan to earn their bachelor's degree within two years.
We continue to work toward supporting more majors in ACE QC. The primary criterion for us to support a non-ACE supported major is your viability to earn your bachelor's degree within two years.
Financial Aid Filing Status (AY 2024-25)*
ACE QC requires students to fully complete FAFSA (Federal) and TAP (NYS) applications every year. For details about financial aid filing requirements, visit the ACE QC website. Delay in completing these applications may affect your eligibility for and access to program benefits.
